The Block 2017 winners Elyse Knowles and Josh Barker are embarking on their most exciting challenge yet .. parenthood.
The pair revealed their new family addition, announcing the birth of their first child who was born on Thursday, February 25.
Since then the pair have been sharing their journey so far with fans via their Instagram stories and we’re smitten!

The pair met in Byron Bay, NSW in 2013 before they competed on The Block together in 2017 taking out the winning glory with their creative and modern home, winning over fans with their chilled out and easy going vibe.

New mum Elyse, previously spoke about her pregnancy journey, to WHO.
The Myer ambassador admitted she’s had fully embraced her newfound curves and divulged she was “loving the changes” that motherhood brings.
“It’s just so incredible how a woman’s body can grow a human,” Elyse said.
“It excites me every week to read about how the little person inside me is developing and it makes me burst with excitement to watch my belly grow! I feel very lucky.”

New mum Elyse Knowles’ before and after pics are TOO REAL!
Taking to Instagram on Friday, new mum Elyse shared a series of before and after images.
The model shared some glowing images of herself before Sunny came into the world alongside some unfiltered snaps of what her life has looked like for the past month.
“Pre baby glow V’s holly s*** I’m a milking cow with my eye balls hanging out of my head 😂 But love every second of it,” she joked in the caption.
Of course fans loved Elyse’s candid share, taking to the comments section to voice their solidarity.
“This is so accurate I love it,” one wrote in the post’s comments.
“The realness of this post makes even more gorgeous than usual,” remarked another.
“So accurate! You’re nailing it- ‘When in doubt, get your boob out’ is the only parenting mantra I live by,” a third noted.
Sunny is a beach bum already!

New mum Elyse shared a series of black and white images of the family of three in honour of International Women’s Day.
“It’s a year to recognise the pure strength in us all,” penned the new mum.
“How special, wonderful, strong and wildy capable women are in their most natural form 🌿 We need to unite and accept, be happy for one another and embrace our differences!”
