Aussie celebs show support for The Block star, Jess Eva who was sprung with booze at her son’s soccer training

Being a sport parent is not for the faint hearted. There’s the fees, and the early starts, and the weekend travelling, and the fruit roster, and the uniform washing, and the training – sometimes multiple times a week …
While game day might at least bring some thrills, training nights are a whole different story, and for new sport mum, Triple M radio host Jess Eva preparation was key in getting her through, clearly.
The 37yo, who shares 6yo son Fred and 4yo daughter Matilda with her partner and fellow The Block star, Norm Hogan, was caught out being the only parent with a cheeky alcopop in her handbag at the first soccer training of the season on Tuesday night.

Realising that she’d failed to read the room, the jokester filmed herself sneaking the drink out of her handbag while she sat on a rug at the sidelines, before quickly taking a sip and hiding it again as a group of youngsters went through their drills in the background.
The I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here alum uploaded the Boomerang-style clip to Instagram with the caption, “When you are the only parent that bought a drink to soccer training” adding three embarrassed-faced emojis.

Support for her cheeky move came in thick and fast in the comments section as other sports parents related, including some fellow celebrities.
Radio host, Erin Molan jumped in with, “You are my kind of girl,” while mum-of-three Chezzi Denyer offered, “That’s my gurl!”
Studio 10 presenter Tristan MacManus added, “You’re barred!”
“We never do that …”
Other parents were quick to chime in with their experience too. One saying, “We never do that! We just head over to the bowls which is in close proximity.”
Another added, “Mate, our club rooms serve alcohol! Come to Melbourne!”
While others were grateful for the inspiration.
“Heading to netball now and wondering if a bottle of wine is overkill then I see this,” laughed one parent, while another exclaimed, “Ohhhhh this is how we are meant to get through the training nights!”
Jess, who hosts Triple M Sydney’s Breakfast with MG, Jess & Pagey, first burst onto Aussie screens during The Block in 2018 where she and partner Norm sold their apartment at auction for $2,859,000, making a nice profit of $209,000!
