Reality TV star and influencer Tully Smyth has welcomed her first child with partner Ned Rohrt, announcing the arrival of their baby girl with a sweet Instagram post.

Sharing the news with her followers, Tully revealed their daughter’s name is Elke Iris Rohrt, writing: “Elke Iris Rohrt, you are the sweetest cherry on top of the most delicious sundae and your mum and dad are pretty chuffed that you chose us.”

The new mum later opened up about the inspiration behind the unique name during an Instagram Stories Q&A, revealing Elke had been a favourite for years.

“Elke (pronounced “el-key” unless she goes to Germany where they’ll probably pronounce it “el-ka”) has been on my baby name list for like 10 years. I always knew I wanted a unique, original name that wasn’t super common or popular and Ned’s surname is Norweigian, so we liked that it sounded European and matched the vibe of Rohrt. I also loved that it’s a 4-letter, “cool girl” name that could be shortened to El, Ellie, or Elle if she wanted to.”

Tully announced her pregnancy in January, after she and Ned began dating in 2023. As she prepared to become a mum, she shared a heartfelt tribute to her partner, celebrating the family they were about to create together.

“The best thing I’ve ever done for this baby was wait patiently for you to be their dad,” the post started.

“I’ve always felt so lucky that you chose me. That I was the girl who managed to pin you down. The cat who got the cream.

“The only thing better than getting to call you mine is gifting this little one with you as their daddy. 🥹

“They have no idea how lucky they already are.”

Tully first became a household name in Australia more than a decade ago when she appeared on the tenth season of Big Brother Australia, where her close friendship with housemate Anthony Drew became one of the season’s biggest talking points. She has since built a successful career as a podcaster, author and digital creator.

Trigger warning: Pregnancy and infant loss

Dan and Dani Reilly, who rose to fame on The Block in 2013, have welcomed their second child, a baby boy.

Sharing the happy news to Instagram, the couple wrote: “Fletcher James Reilly. Our perfect boy. 10.04.26.” 💙

The announcement comes just months after Dan and Dani revealed they were expecting again.

“As sure as the sun rises and sets each day, she is with us for this next chapter… 🟢Billie’s sibling coming 2026 ☀️,” they wrote at the time.

“To those navigating pregnancy and infant loss, IVF, and fertility challenges – we see you.”

Their joyful update follows the devastating loss of their daughter, Billie Vera Reilly, who tragically passed away in December 2024 at just 10 days old.

On their official fundraising page, the couple shared Billie’s story, the impact she had on everyone who knew her, and their mission to help other families facing unimaginable challenges.

As of April 2026, Billie’s Besties had raised more than $189,000 to support the Women’s Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the families who depend on its care.

World No. 17 Australian tennis player, Bernard Tomic, and his long-term partner Keely Hannah have welcomed a beautiful baby girl.

The arrival of the couple’s first baby came as a complete surprise to fans. Bernard Tomic stays off social media, and his long-time girlfriend has been radio silent since July last year – now we know why!

“The most beautiful secret we’ve ever kept” Keely shared on Instagram, alongside a sweet photo series of their new bub.

Born on Easter Sunday, they’ve given their daughter a celestial inspired name – “Astara Aurelia Tomic”. Astara has greek origins and translates to star, and Aurelia has latin origins meaning “golden one.”

Together since 2022, Bernard and Keely haven’t always had the easiest time in the spotlight. During an ATP Challengers comp, a court-side spat between the couple, allegedly over a positive COVID test that forced Tomic to retire mid-match, made headlines.

Nonetheless, the decision to keep parts of their relationship under wraps appears to be a deliberate and positive one as the couple has taken their relationship to the next level.

Prince Harry's ex Chelsy Davy welcomes her third child
Prince Harry’s ex, Chelsy Davy, has just welcomed her third child – and his name is adorable

The 40-year-old Zimbabwean-born businesswoman and founder of ethical jewellery brand Aya shared the news in a heartfelt UK Mother’s Day post.

“This year feels especially meaningful for me as we welcome our little boy, Finn, who arrived last week. Returning to those hazy newborn days has been a beautiful reminder of just how remarkable mothers are – and of the many ways we each balance family, work and everything in between.

Running Aya alongside raising Finn, Chloe and Leo is a juggle, but it’s one I’ve chosen. And one of the wonderful things about the world we live in today is that many of us have that freedom – to shape our lives in the way that feels right, whether that includes motherhood, a career, creativity, or something entirely different.

This Mother’s Day, I’m embracing the juggle I’ve chosen – and celebrating all of you embracing yours.”
