At some stage in your parenting career, there’s a good chance that, with horror, you’ll discover that your child has given themselves a DIY haircut.
The latest celebrity couple to experience this parenting rite of passage is orginal Bachelor couple, Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards.
In a post to Instagram, 36yo Anna Heinrich reveals, her daughter, Elle has given herself a haircut.
“When your two year old decides to become a hairdresser😡 💇♀️ ✂️ #whoshiring,” she wrote alongside three images of Elle’s new ‘do and the pile of blonde hair that was lopped off.
Fans and other celebrity parents were quick to sympathise with the Intu Wellness co-founder.
“The mullet is trending 😆,” commented former Bachelor star Lisa Hyde.
“I cannot stop laughing I’m so sorry 😂🙈🙈🙈 I also did this 😂,” wrote model and Anna’s former SAS Australia co-star, Simone Holtznagel.
Hinting it may have been Tim who was looking after Elle at the time of the big chop, Anna replied to Simone’s comment writing, “guess who was watching her!!!”
“Oh my god ANNA!!!! My heart! Thank goodness it can grow back,” wrote former My Kitchen Rules star Ash Pollard.
To which Anna replied: “maybe… 3 years or so 🤦♀️”
“Oh no 😱,” added model Megan Gale.
“OH MY GOD!! This is a good one,” wrote radio host and mum-of-two Laura Byrne.
“Fully Sick mullet! The kids on the Northern Beaches would pay big bucks for that cut! 🔥,” added model and actress Erika Heynatz.
In the days following the dramatic cut, Anna revealed she’d called in the professionals to help fix the botched hair cut.
Sharing a black and white image to her stories, Elle’s hair was chopped into a stylish layered cut. “Lily to the rescue,” wrote Anna, giving a shout-out to the hair stylist, Lily and Co Hair.
Anna and Tim met on the first series of The Bachelor in 2013. The couple tied the knot in Italy in 2018 and welcomed daughter, Elle in November, 2020.
Incredibly, just 10 months after Elle’s arrival Anna took on the gruelling commando course on SAS Australia, fast becoming one of the frontrunners to pass the course with her ‘machine’ performance.
Fitness trainer, Tim is set to star in the new season of SAS Australia which will return to our screens in October, 2023.
