Mum wants divorce after husband suggests THIS name for their baby!
And yes, we can see why...
A mum-to-be has threatened to divorce her husband over their un-born child’s baby name.
Taking to reddit, the un-named woman, revealed that she was angry and upset after a conversation about their new daughter’s name – and she had told him she wanted to break up.
And followers on reddit agree she has a point!
Her husband has told her he wants to name their daughter after his ex-girlfriend – his first love!
He justified it by saying he thinks it’s nice that he can remember his ex, via his first child WITH ANOTHER WOMAN!
The pregnant wife explains on the website,
“Ever since we found out it’s gonna be a girl my husband wants to name it like his exes name. It’s not any ex but the one he dated for long period of time and loved the most.”
She continued: “In the beginning of our relationship we had many problems because of her but she moved away so the problems went away. He really loved her and he never hid that from me but I thought it was over once she moved away.”
But it turns out that her hubby still thinks about his ex. A lot.
“When I asked him why does he want that name so badly he said just because he and his ex didnt work out doesnt mean he doesnt want something to keep reminding him of her. He doesnt understand how much its affecting me and keeps saying its just the hormones. Is he still in love with the ex or its normal that he wants to name OUR child like that.”
The response to the mum-to-be’s question was swift and overwhelming. Not only did followers think it was outrageous that he even suggested it, but many feel that divorce is already on the cards because he is clearly in love with someone else…
“The MOST insane thing I’ve read ever. Divorce seems inevitable anyway, might as well file,” another user commented.
“He’s definitely still in love with his ex. I can’t imagine anyone being such a f****** moron. It’s ridiculous,” one person added.
And more thought that his baby name idea showed such a lack of respect to both the mum and the daughter, it could cause problems for the little girl as she grows up…
Yep, pretty crazy. Right.
