OUR INDEPENDENT TESTERS SAY:
– Lovely rocker
The rocker is a great investment for a new parent. Not only does it rock the baby to sleep, but the ability for the main rocker to be portable is super useful. This function helped me take the baby all around the house while I got chores done. The rocker was also very useful for naptime in putting our baby to sleep with the various melodies, and was also very safe and secure with the ability to belt bub in. We also loved the ability to face the rocker 180 degrees in whichever way we needed. The only negative is that one song would constantly play on repeat (which could get a little boring) so an option to play all songs at once without needing to press next would be great. Other than that, we truly enjoy using the rocker and would recommend it to other parents.
– Good product
This product is pretty good and user friendly. But it’s quite heavy and I had to ask my husband to help while set it up. We don’t recommend using battery for this rocker. It can be dismantled easily for washing. My bub doesn’t like the light and rocking mode but she loves the swing mode.
– Great multiple use swing
My bub and I have really enjoyed using this swing/rocker. It was straightforward to assemble with a few confused moments. As my bub is already on the bigger side for his age, he may outgrow it sooner rather than later. We only got it around the 3 month mark. He loves the swing and how the direction can be changed. A few times he has fallen asleep in it while it is rocking.
I love the fact that you have several music choices and sounds to choose for. Hearing the same music over and over again can get very aggravating to adults. The detachable rocker was useful as we could take it upstairs and use it there as a rocker or seat. It’s easy to wheel around but does take up quite a bit of floor space.
I would have preferred for the strap between the legs to be adjustable as it seemed to sit quite low on my bub. The harness is easy to use and has a covering over it to prevent curious fingers unlatching it. We removed the newborn insert as he was already too big for it. The dangling toys kept him entertained, however we didn’t really use the canopy and nightlight. But could be beneficial if you have it in a room with the lights down low, or reduce distractions.
As it is a more pricey item, I would recommend getting it from an early age with Bub to get as much use out of it as possible. We didn’t try out the vibrate function on the rocker as it required batteries, which I haven’t gotten around to buying. But it plugs into the wall so you don’t need to keep on recharging batteries. If you plug it into a skirting PowerPoint you will need a double adapter as the cable comes out the bottom so it’s too long to fit on the power point by itself.
Generally I found the negatives were only minor issues and would be little things to improve on but overall my Bub and I have enjoyed testing out this swing.
