Sylvia Jeffreys threw the most delightful birthday party for her youngest son Henry who has turned one.

The television presenter appeared to host the event at her house, and she invited her nearest and dearest.

As is tradition, the mother-of-two baked her son a perfect one shaped cake with ladybugs adorning the green buttercream icing that came straight from the Australian Women’s Weekly cookbook.

Sylvia’s husband Peter Stefanovic was thrilled by the bubbles.

Sylvia shared pictures of Henry wearing a crown with the number ‘1’ written on it and of him playing with his brother Oscar, two, and cousin Harper, the daughter of her brother-in-law Karl Stefanovic.

The birthday boy is one!

Alongside an adorable family picture taken before they sang ‘Happy Birthday’ of her husband Peter Stefanovic losing it over bubbles and their sons looking completely disinterested, she wrote, “At least one of my boys is easily entertained ☁️ @peter_stefanovic.”

Her colleague David Campbell commented on the hilarious snap, “Dad always goes to 💯.”

Sylvia also shared a picture of Henry with his cousin Harper and friend Joey, the son of Sylvia’s Nine colleague Jayne Azzopardi, reaching out for more cake on her Instagram story.

“Big birthday boy energy, just sticking his hand right into the cake like he owns it,” she jokingly captioned it, along with the word “Shook” over Harper and Joey’s reactions.

Even Henry’s impressed with his birthday cake.

A day earlier, on Henry’s actual birthday, she shared a slew of pictures from the past year and gushed, “🎂 Happy 1st birthday, sweet Henry. On this day you have five teeth, strawberry blonde curls, a fierce love for your bunnies and your big brother and a wildly infectious giggle. What a joy and a gift you are. We love you so very much. ❤️‍🔥🎈 @peter_stefanovic.”

Proud dad Peter also marked the occasion by posting a picture of him cradling his son and writing, “Henry George is 1 today! Happy birthday King. Love you buddy ❤️.”

Sylvia always turns to the Australian Women’s Weekly cookbook for her kids’ birthdays.
