A one-day only puppy cafe is popping up in Melbourne

Sip, snuggle, and support Guide Dogs.

Brace yourself for an adorable puppy overload as Guide Dogs Victoria is opening a Guide Dogs ‘Pup-up’ Café at Studley Grounds Cafe in Kew, Melbourne.

It’s no coincidence that this special event falls on International Guide Dog Day on Wednesday, April 24. What better way to honour the invaluable role of guide dogs than cuddling up to super-cute Labrador puppies while you sip on your morning latte.

Guests will be given an exclusive opportunity to meet a litter of Guide Dogs Labrador puppies, snap memorable photos at the photobooth, observe puppy training sessions, and much more.

The ‘Pup-up’ Café will be celebrating the travels of Guide Dogs and their handlers, with menu items and décor celebrating all the amazing places they can (and should) be allowed to go to. It’s a paw-fect opportunity for the public to learn more about the amazing role Guide Dogs play – what they do, and why it’s important they are allowed to keep travelling with their handlers.

Event proceeds from this ‘Pup-up’ Cafe go directly to Guide Dogs to continue keeping Victorians with low vision and blindness living independently.

Photobooth – We’ll have a photo booth with lots of different backgrounds (and puppies) so you can travel with the dogs in training to all the places Guide Dogs have been and can go.
