Who’s Having My Baby?: Is Nick Cannon’s new show a joke?
It has to be, right?
As if Nick Cannon’s life could become any more hectic, the host of The Masked Singer (US) – and father to TWELVE children by SIX women – has revealed that he is making a TV show with E!, hosted by comedian Kevin Hart.
Posting an image to his Instagram, he captioned:
“We’re expecting…a new show on E! 👀 🍼 #WhosHavingMyBaby premieres this Spring on @eentertainment! @kevinhart4real”
This writer is almost lost for words (shortest story ever?). It has to be joke, right? It’s a little early for an April Fool’s Day…
Commenters responded with a variety of comments, most hoping that it is a prank:

“It’s my job to never let your crown fall!”
While some responded by laughing at the “humour” of his relationship with Kevin Hart, the majority take offence as his flippant treatment of parenthood, being a father and having children.
This is our favourite: “Surely it should be “who’s not having my baby” 🤣🤣”
“Nick Cannon, it seems as if your [sic] making it a joke!! Pregnancy and Parenthood is very serious!! There’s no way that you can be there physically for all your kids!! Many of them will resent you for not being present in their lives. It’s just sad!! You can’t replace the need of love with money!!”
“The comedy of creating broken homes 😂 the people gone love it So now he’s making an even bigger joke of the women with his kids 🙄”
“Bring back shame”
“Very disappointing….grow up….this is not a flex”
“I hope this is satire bc ain’t no way”
If it’s a joke (and we hope it is!), it’s a little early for April Fool’s Day, and in poor taste.
After the devastating death in 2021 of the 42-year-old’s five-month-old, Zen, with mother Alyssa Scott , the rapper took a vow of celibacy. He later claimed that all his 2022 babies were because women were “just going to give him a little vagina” to help cure his depression.
The rapper and comedian also told a US radio station that he “don’t have no accident[s]” and that all his babies were planned, and in February 2023 told Entertainment Tonight that “God decides” when he’ll stop having children. “You know what, when I’m 85, you never know.”
