New to Bounty?
Former Real Housewives of Melbourne star Jackie Gillies has long shared her dreams to become a mum, and for herself and husband Silverchair’s Ben Gillies, that journey will involve IVF.
On Wednesday, the 39-year-old psychic shared an image with her almost 94k Instagram followers, showing herself gowned up and ready for the procedure to retrieve her eggs.
Always inspirational, Jackie penned: “This is what pre-egg retrieval looks like. IVF. Ladies, you got this, for anyone out there going through IVF!
“From my heart to yours, I’m sending you all positive thoughts, prayers and shine.”
Jackie Gillies is hoping to inspire others to follow their dreams of parenthood.
Support from Australian celebrities came rolling in, and Jackie’s comment section was soon full of words of encouragement from some of the nation’s biggest names.

RHOM’s Jackie married sweetheart, former Silverchair drummer, Ben Gillies in 2010.
Jackie spoke with Stellar magazine in February, announcing that she had quit The Real Housewives of Melbourne to focus on starting a family with Ben.
Famed for motivating others to “Shine, shine shine”, Jackie revealed that she was on her fourth round of IVF, something she was not prepared to make public because of her concerns about being judged.
In a bid to be more “honest” with herself, and to help others going through the same thing, Jackie made the decision to let the world know about her journey.
Jackie told Stellar in February that she had already been through four failed rounds of IVF.
Jackie credits her time in the South African jungle on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! back in 2018 for helping her realise she wanted to be a mother.
“Do I know I’m definitely going to have children? From the depths of my heart, yes. But what I haven’t been prepared for is the way it was going to come,” she said.
“The biggest thing I’ve learnt… is to never hide things,” she said.
“When you talk, it’s like you become lighter. And please don’t feel like you’re not good enough. Because you are enough. It’s okay. It’s not your fault.”
