RHOM’s Jackie married sweetheart, former Silverchair drummer, Ben Gillies in 2010.

Jackie spoke with Stellar magazine in February, announcing that she had quit The Real Housewives of Melbourne to focus on starting a family with Ben.

Famed for motivating others to “Shine, shine shine”, Jackie revealed that she was on her fourth round of IVF, something she was not prepared to make public because of her concerns about being judged.

In a bid to be more “honest” with herself, and to help others going through the same thing, Jackie made the decision to let the world know about her journey.

Jackie told Stellar in February that she had already been through four failed rounds of IVF.

Jackie credits her time in the  South African jungle on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! back in 2018 for helping her realise she wanted to be a mother.

“Do I know I’m definitely going to have children? From the depths of my heart, yes. But what I haven’t been prepared for is the way it was going to come,” she said.

While Jackie and Ben are not saying how much longer they’ll try for, they have not ruled out surrogacy or adoption if their IVF attempts are not successful.

“The biggest thing I’ve learnt… is to never hide things,” she said.

“When you talk, it’s like you become lighter. And please don’t feel like you’re not good enough. Because you are enough. It’s okay. It’s not your fault.”
