Brittany Higgins and David Sharaz have officially become parents, welcoming their first child – a beautiful baby boy.
The former political staffer shared the happy news on Instagram on Sunday night, posting a sweet photo of her newborn’s tiny fingers wrapped around her hand.
“Last night we welcomed our little boy into the world. 🤍” Brittany wrote, before thanking the incredible midwives, nurses, and doctors for their care and kindness.
“We’re both so excited to spend our days doting on the newest member of our family — forever grateful for all the love and support we’ve received. 🧸🙏”
Brittany and David, who tied the knot in June 2024, are now soaking up every precious moment with their new arrival.

A major change is coming to one of the world’s most beloved animated families—Mummy Pig is expecting! Hasbro has officially announced that Peppa Pig and her little brother George will be welcoming a brand-new sibling in Season 11, marking a significant evolution for the 20-year-old franchise.
The milestone episode, Peppa Pig: The Big Announcement, will premiere in Australia from 6am on April 7th on ABC iview, with a broadcast debut on April 22nd at 7:55am on ABC Kids.

Rebecca Breeds and Luke Mitchell are parents
Australian actors Rebecca Breeds and Luke Mitchell have welcomed their first child! The former Home and Away stars announced the happy news on Instagram on February 21, 2025, writing: “Welcome to the world, little man. Thanks for choosing us. We love you beyond words.” 🙏❤️✨
The couple first shared their pregnancy news in November 2024. Together for nearly 15 years, Rebecca and Luke met on set and tied the knot a decade ago. After spending years living and working in the U.S., they’ve been back home in Australia for the past three years.

Cass Wood welcomed a baby boy with husband Tyson Davis
Cass Wood, who rose to fame on The Bachelor is now a mum! The 30-year-old took to Instagram to announce her son’s arrival on February 13, writing:
“Welcome to the world Theodore (Teddy/Theo) James Davis. Born 12/2/25 at 12:45am.”
She continued: “What started off slowly and beautifully in the birthing suite watching Australian idol 😂, a long 30 hours later ended with an emergency c-section. But bub arrived safely in the best hands with the best team!”
The new mum shared how grateful she felt and gave a shout-out to her husband: “Feeling so grateful and in the biggest love bubble with our little family. And extremely grateful for my amazing and supportive husband who I am sure is also a little traumatised ❤️”
Cass starred in Nick ‘Honey Badgers’ Cummins’ season of The Bachelor in 2018. She returned to our screens in 2019, in Bachelor in Paradise.
Cass married her partner, rugby player Tyson Davis in 2023.

Renee Bargh welcomes baby No. 2!
Today Entertainment reporter Renee Bargh has welcomed her second child with partner Andrew Lange.
The couple announced the arrival of their daughter, Soléil James Lange, in February 2025.
Sharing the joyful news on Instagram on February 13, Renee described her daughter’s peaceful home water birth, surrounded by love and support. She expressed gratitude to their midwife, doula, and community, calling the experience “pure bliss.”
Renee also reflected on the emotional journey of introducing a newborn to their toddler, Tide Thomas, who was born in April 2023. Despite the challenges, she described their growing family as “magic.”

Colin From Accounts stars Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer welcomed their second child, Mabel, on February 2, 2025.
The couple shared the news on Instagram, posting a glimpse of their newborn alongside their eldest daughter, Joni.
“Welcoming little Mabel. We love her so much and we’re all very grateful. 2/2/2025 ,” they captioned the announcement.
Patrick and Harriet first became parents in 2021 when they adopted their daughter Joni. At the time, Harriet shared, “Born September 16, 2021, and with us from her first moments thanks to her incredible birth mother.”

Emily in Paris star Lily Collins welcomes her first child via a surrogate
Actress Lily Collins, 35, has announced the arrival of her first child with filmmaker husband Charlie McDowell, 41 – a baby girl born via surrogate on January 31.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Lily posted a sweet photo of her daughter, Tove Jane McDowell, peacefully sleeping under a blanket embroidered with her name. She captioned the post:
“Welcome to the center of our world, Tove Jane McDowell. Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again…”
Tove, a name of Norse and Scandinavian origin, means “beloved, beautiful, and good.”
Following the announcement of their daughter, Lily and Charlie, who tied the knot in 2021, received some criticism for their decision to use a surrogate.

Sophie Cachia is in a “love bubble” with her third child
Influencer and entrepreneur Sophie Cachia has welcomed her third child, a beautiful baby girl named Esmé Sophie Shaw, born on January 28, 2025.
Sharing the little one’s arrival to Instagram, Sophie wrote: “Esmé Sophie Shaw joined our world on Jan 28th at 5:58pm watched on by her amazing big brother & sister. My dream experience to have them there and now diving deep into my love bubble.”
Sophie, who shares two children with ex-AFL player Jaryd Cachia, previously shut down speculation about her third child’s paternity, confirming she used an anonymous donor.
Sophie and ex-husband Jaryd Cachia were together from 2015 to 2019. The pair split when Sophie realised she was attracted to women.
The influencer is currently in a relationship with AFLW star Madison Prespakis.

Princess Beatrice welcomes second daughter
Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have welcomed their second child together, a beautiful baby girl named Athena Elizabeth Rose, born on January 22, 2025, at 12:57 pm, weighing 4 pounds, 5 ounces (1.5 kilograms).
Edoardo shared the happy news on Instagram, writing, “We welcomed Baby Athena into our lives last week. She is tiny and absolutely perfect. We are all (including Wolfie and Sienna) already completely besotted with her. Our hearts are overflowing with love for you, baby Athena.”
The couple, who also share three-year-old Sienna, honoured Queen Elizabeth II with Athena’s middle name. Beatrice is also a loving stepmother to Wolfie, Edoardo’s son from a previous relationship.
