David Beckham and Victoria Adams first met at one of his games in 1997 and the rest is history.

Victoria even admitted, “I didn’t like football then and I don’t like football now.” Showing that she went to watch him not the game.

In 1998 the couple got engaged and it was revealed they were expecting their first child, Brooklyn.

So, on March 4 1999, the couple started the Beckham family with their first son Brooklyn Joseph Beckham.

In July of that year, the couple tied the knot with Brooklyn as their ringbearer.

Victoria Beckham has opened up about her infertility struggles due to her polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

She revealed when she was trying for her third child, she was being bombarded with questions from the press asking if she was pregnant yet.

She’d handle it by saying, “I keep that big smile and say something like, ‘Actually, I’m struggling with infertility because of my PCOS, so my husband and I have been through several fertility treatments. No baby yet, but it’ll happen soon!'”

Now David and Victoria Beckham have 4 kids together, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

Brooklyn Joseph Beckham

Brooklyn Joseph Beckham

Born on March 4 1999, Brooklyn was the couple’s first child and was given the name after Victoria found out she was pregnant in Brooklyn, NYC while on tour there. His godfather just so happens to be Elton John.

Brooklyn had a chance at a football career with Arsenal FC Academy but decided it wasn’t the career path for him.

He’s had a fair share of career paths from modelling to photography but seems to have settled on being a chef.

“I really enjoyed [photography] for a couple of years. I love taking pictures of my wife. I still have all my film cameras, but now it’s just more of a fun thing to do. They were kind of all hobbies. I was still trying to find that one thing I would literally die for, and I found that with cooking,” Brooklyn revealed to Variety.

He married Nicola Peltz in April 2022 and in October Victoria shared her thoughts, “As a mother, to see my son so happy means so much. What more can you ask for?”

Romeo James Beckham

Romeo was born on September 1 2002, and unlike his brother, they chose his name, well, because they liked it.

As a toddler, Romeo was in and out of hospital before he was diagnosed with epilepsy after suffering from seizures and convulsions causing paparazzi to not take constant flashing photos.

He has continued to follow in his dad’s footsteps and is pursuing a career in football.

He started at Arsenal FC Academy like his brother but left at 13 and decided to try tennis for a while.

He was quick to go back to football and at 19 started playing for Fort Lauderdale CF which is the sister club of Inter Miami FC, co-owned by David Beckham.

He’s now on loan to Brentford FC in England, clearly, he’s doing something right.

Romeo began dating his girlfriend, Mia Regan in 2019 and they celebrated his 21st birthday together with his family in September 2023.

Cruz David Beckham

Named after his father, Cruz was born on the 20th of February 2005 in Madrid during the time they were living in Spain.

At just the age of 11, Cruz decided to follow in his mum’s footsteps and venture into music with his first single “If Every Day Was Christmas” released in December 2016 and raised funds for the charity Make Me Some Noise.

He’s extremely talented in playing the guitar, mandolin and piano and told i-D Magazine, “I don’t think you ever stop learning, but I’m taking my time seeing what happens.”

In February 2023, Cruz turned 18 and his mum paid tribute, “You are our everything. Happy 18th superstar.”

Cruz later repaid the favour by getting ‘Posh’ tattooed on his right arm.

Harper Seven Beckham

The only girl, Harper was born on July 10 2011, and you might’ve expected her to be a ‘Posh’ mini-me but she looks the most alike to Becks out of all the children.

David revealed the couple loved that Harper was an old British name and loved its connection to Harper Lee the author of To Kill A Mockingbird.

Seven was an obvious number for David to name his child after, as it was his number while playing for Manchester United and the England national team.

He also pointed out, “The main reason behind Seven was it symbolises spiritual perfection — the seven wonders of the world, the seven colours of the rainbow — and in many cultures it is a lucky number. We love the name and we love Harper Seven. We are very happy to have her in our lives and in our family, and it is an amazing time for our family right now,” David said in a Facebook video.

Harper hasn’t shown much interest in either of her parents’ careers and is more interested in horse riding but for now, she will be focusing on her grades and most importantly, being a kid.

Victoria and Harper are very close and Victoria revealed to Vogue Australia that she’s, “at that age where her body is going to start changing, but it’s about making sure that we communicate a lot as a family and she surrounds herself with nice friends.”
