Social media has created a whole new level to parenting. You don’t think twice if you see a mum in the park taking pictures of her children, instantly posting them to Facebook and tagging you and every other mum in that park as being there with her.

In fact, these days, you’re probably in the minority if you’re not doing it.

New research by gadget insurance company Row.co.uk has revealed that over a third (31 per cent) of mums admit to spending over nine hours on their mobile phones every single day.

A quarter of these mums (23 per cent) said they are on their devices for a whopping 12 hours and more!

So what are they doing on their phones, you may ask? Well, they confirmed to either be on social media platforms or taking pictures and videos of their children to share on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
