Things to do at Reflections Holiday Parks Byron Bay Holiday Park

For us, our absolute favourite part of staying at Reflections Byron Bay Holiday Park, was the fact that we could step out of the park directly onto the pristine sand of Clarke’s beach and stroll down to the epic views at Fisherman’s Lookout.

Collecting shells along the way and watching the colourful kite surfers do their thing, we would meander up to the lookout and climb the stairs to the viewing platform which offers incredible scenery and a birds eye view of the ocean. It’s not uncommon to spot dolphins playing in the surf, turtles cruising through the turquoise waters and whales making their seasonal migrations from this magical spot.

The pristine beaches of Byron Bay are a must-do bucket list adventure for all families.

The lookout is not the only short walk either, in fact, we barely used our car at all during our stay. Everything was just a short stroll away including the main township of Byron Bay itself.

The colourful markets, iconic pubs, award-winning restaurants and cafes, and the town’s famous quirky boutiques were all an easily accessible, flat ten minute walk from the park. The wide footpath directly into town make it perfect for prams and scooters too.

When you’ve been in the hustle and bustle of school, and sports and work and life, being able to slow down, recharge and casually stroll as a family was the gear shift that we didn’t realise we were needing.

We also made the most of the two great playgrounds in town, and for the older kids there were several local surf schools to choose from when booking surf lessons.

Of course, being Byron there are so many local attractions to visit, but for us it was the simplicity of staying in a relaxing tropical, beachside oasis with the action of town right there if we wanted it that was the big seller for us.
