Woolworths Bricks are here! With mystery packs, rare pieces and a backyard cricket twist, the playground trading has officially begun.

Just when you thought you were was safe from another collectible craze, Woolworths Bricks are back and kids everywhere are already on the hunt. This time it’s Bricks Home, with mystery characters, backyard cricket vibes and the kind of “have you got this one yet?” energy that turns grocery trips into treasure hunts.

Launching 28 January, families receive one pack for every $30 spent and yes, swapping, bargaining and intense sibling negotiations are absolutely encouraged.

What’s new in Bricks Home?

For the first time ever, Woolworths Bricks comes with a cricket twist, bringing the spirit of backyard cricket straight into the living room. The Home set includes cricket stumps (plus a recycling bin stump) and introduces 40 brand-new mystery collectables, including a Woolworths Cricket Blast girl, Laura.

How to collect them

You can collect Woolworths Bricks Home packs however you shop, in store, online, Pick Up, Direct to Boot, Metro, BIG W or MILKRUN. Every $30 spent earns one mystery pack.

Which bricks are the rarest?

When asked which pieces are the hardest to find, Robert Glenn, Woolworths Head of Collectables and Continuity, kept things mysterious:

“We know how much our customers love collecting Woolworths Bricks, and we encourage collectors to keep a close eye on their packs for any special surprises over the six weeks of the campaign.”

Are Woolworths Bricks compatible with LEGO?

Yes! Woolworths has confirmed the bricks are compatible with other leading building block brands, including LEGO. Meaning your kids can mix, match and expand their builds… and your floor will officially become a minefield.

Made from recycled plastic (and fully recyclable)

Bricks Home is made from 100% recycled plastic and certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Finished collecting? You can return your bricks to Woolworths by 31 March 2026, where they’ll be recycled through iQRenew.

Official Woolworths Brick Swap Day

Already drowning in duplicates? Woolworths is hosting an official Brick Home Swap Day on Saturday, 28 February, from 1–2pm at participating Woolworths and BIG W stores, giving kids the chance to trade, negotiate and live their best collector lives.
