Katy Perry Orlando Bloom have a baby girl!
Her name is as gorgeous as we expected it be!
Katy Perry has given birth! The popstar has welcomed a daughter, Daisy Dove, with fiancé Orlando Bloom on Wednesday.
“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” said the couple in a joint statement to UNICEF.
Katy, 35, and Orlando , 43, included a heartwarming black and white photo of them holding onto their darling daughter’s hand.
In their statement to UNICEF, the couple stated that although they are joyously celebrating the birth of their daughter, “they know they are the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as theirs was.”
They shared: “Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes.
“Since COVID-19, many more newborn lives are at risk because of a greater lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent diseases.”
The pair are parents together at last!
They added that “as parents to a newborn, this breaks their hearts, as they empathise with struggling parents now more than ever.”
They continued: “As UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, we know UNICEF is there, on the ground, doing whatever it takes to make sure every expecting mother has access to a trained health worker and access to quality healthcare.
Katy says both she and Orlando have been “looking forward to this new interval of life and sharing this.”
Katy Perry pulled off the most Rockstar move of 2020 by announcing her pregnancy in a music video clip for her new single, Never Worn White on Thursday. And while the rest of the world may have been delightfully shocked, it seems the happy parents-to-be might have known this was coming.
The 35 year old Roar declared: “It wasn’t an accident,” during a conversation with SiriusXM’s Mikey Piff. “I’ve just been trying to create this space in my own life where I’m not running myself too ragged and creating space for something new to pop in like this.”

It was certainly a creative and clever pregnancy announcement! At the end of video for Never Worn White the American Idol judge is seen to begin caressing her belly in a white dress before turning to a side profile in the final shot, where a new sheer dress is backlit to show her burgeoning bump in all it’s glory.
Katy jumped onto Instagram Live after the music video premiered on YouTube, to confirm that this clip did in fact mean that she was pregnant.
“There’s a lot that will be happening this summer,” the mum-to-announced. “Not only will I be giving birth – literally – but also figuratively, to something you guys have been waiting for.”
During a chat with SiriusXM Hits 1 Katy said: “I’m joining the force of working mums out there and that is a very strong force.”
“I love what I do and it doesn’t feel like work and it brings me so much joy, so I just want to continue that state of joy.”
As for her pregnancy cravings, it seems like not too much has changed for the ever-hungry star!
“That’s why nobody really [suspected] anything,” she confessed. “Because I’ve always been hungry, and I’ve never liked [doing] crunches, so they just thought I was curvy and hungry. And yes, I am curvy and hungry!”

The Pirates of the Caribbean star has opened up about how his son, Flynn took the baby news.
Orlando, who co-parents his son with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, said his son can’t wait to become a big brother again.
“Flynn couldn’t be more excited to be getting a little sister,” the 43-year-old tells HELLO! magazine.
“He’s already got two brothers from Miranda [Kerr]. So although the circumstances are definitely unusual, this is a wonderful time for us.”
Orlando also told the magazine that he and Katy are open to a home-birth.
“We’re taking it day by day. We have a hospital picked out, but every other option is on the table, because it needs to be,” he explains.
“Katy’s sister had home births and it’s not something she’s afraid to do if she needs to. We just have to see how things pan out.”
Orlando says 9yo Flynn is super excited to have a little sister!
Both Katy and Orlando have been keeping fans regularly updated on their pregnancy since announcing it earlier this year.
Recently, Orlando posted a hilarious video clip of Katy being poked by her fiance, before getting out of the car, and dancing alongside the vehicle while it continues to move. Katy can then be seen lifting up her top and showing off her burgeoning bump as she continues to bust a move.
