Meet Katrina Gorry’s adorable mini-me.

Matildas midfielder Katrina Gorry, 33, isn’t just a star on the pitch, she’s also a proud mum, partner, and the face of a new underwear range celebrating women and sport. Katrina’s daughter Harper even makes an appearance in the campaign.

Created in collaboration with the Matildas mid-fielder and designed alongside QLD artist Juliane Ferreira, the Knobby Mini-19 limited-release collection spans women’s, men’s, and kids’ pieces, with the full range dropping soon.

All about Harper

Katrina had planned her pregnancy for 2021, but when the Tokyo Olympics got pushed back due to COVID, it almost threw a wrench in her plans. In early 2020, she moved to Europe to play for Norwegian club Avaldsnes, putting the Olympics on hold to focus on starting her family.

She began IVF in Norway, a process she’d always wanted to experience there. “In Norway, you tell them the main characteristics you want and they go out and choose your donor, you never really find out who the father is,” she explained. After five days of injections, an egg retrieval, and the transfer, Katrina was pregnant with Harper.

She gave birth on August 16, 2021, and returned to the Matildas the following year, preparing for the 2023 World Cup squad.

Love, life, and football

Katrina met her fiancée Clara Markstedt while playing for Swedish club Vittsjö GIK. The pair got engaged in June 2023, just 13 months after dating. Together, they’re raising Harper while chasing big goals on and off the pitch.
