What is Disney+Day?
Disney+ Day is an annual event when the streaming service promotes a terrific dollar-saving offer for new sign-ups to the Disney+ streaming service as well as launching new content from the likes of Disney, Marvel, Pixar, National Geographic and Star Wars.

When is Disney+ Day 2022?
This year, Disney+ Day is on Thursday 8 September, which ties in with the D23 expo that takes place for three days from 9-11 September. In 2021 the special event was held in November close to the two-year anniversary of the streaming service.

What family-friendly content will premiere on Disney+ Day 2022?
The four major offerings for families on this Disney+ Day are Pinocchio, Cars on the Road and brand new sing-a-long versions of Frozen and Frozen 2. All premiere on September 8.
Pinocchio
The re-imagining of Pinocchio stars Tom Hanks as Geppetto in a part-live action part-animated movie directed by Robert Zemeckis. The woodcarver, Geppetto, creates a wooden puppet boy, Pinocchio (voiced by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth), and thinks of him as the son he never had. The stellar cast includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt (as Jiminy Cricket), Lorraine Braco and Luke Evans.
Cars on the Road
In the brand-new series Cars on the Road, Owen Wilson reprises the voice role of Lightning McQueen who goes roadtripping with his best friend Mater, voiced by Larry the Cable Guy. Leaving their home town of Radiator Springs, the intrepid duo set off across country to catch up with Mater’s sister.
Frozen and Frozen 2 sing-a-longs
Ear worm alert! Join Anna (Kristen Bell), Elsa (Idina Menzel), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Olaf (Josh Gad) and all the memorable characters in the modern Disney classics that are Frozen and Frozen 2.
Lose yourself in the lives of Princess Elsa and Princess Anna of Arendelle as they navigate life in the snowy confines of the Southern Isles, and prepare to hear (and sing along to) ‘Let It Go’, ‘Do You Want To Build A Snowman’, ‘Love Is An Open Door’ and ‘Reindeers Are Better Than People’.

Thor: Love & Thunder
The God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) is on a journey like no other – he’s on a quest for inner peace.
