The top 10 Bluey episodes – as voted by fans!

And the Bluey episode Australia loves the most is…

The results of the Biggest Bluey Little Countdown are in! Australia has voted and we have a number one Bluey episode.

As part of ABC’s Bluey Fest, fans were asked to vote for their favourite episode and, biscuits! Plenty of people wanted to have their say, with more than 50,000 votes rolling in.

And Australia’s number one favourite episode of Bluey is… Cricket.

The episode is based on a friendly game of neighbourhood cricket, where the dads struggle to bowl out Rusty, voiced by Blue Wiggle Anthony Field. The episode is a perfect homage to the backyard game, and an example to never give up in pursuit of your dreams.

Executive producer of Bluey, Libbie Doherty wasn’t surprised Cricket took out the number one spot.

“Joe Brumm and the team at Ludo Studio have so perfectly captured the spirit of the game,” she said.

“We hope all the backyard cricketers this summer give their younger siblings a catch, just like Rusty.”

Bluey creator Joe Brumm said: “Cricket worked its way into every corner of my life as a kid. It was just always there. This episode uses cricket of course but it’s representative of whatever sport it is you had growing up that united your family and friends. Some of my favourites made it in there too.”

There were 5,800 votes separating Cricket from the second favourite episode, Baby Race.
