Let’s face it, it’s easy for Easter morning to get a little out of control. Kids running around in their cute bunny pyjamas hunting down chocolate before breakfast, what could go wrong?

The battle to slip in at least one piece of fruit is an uphill one when your little one is clutching a basket full of colourful, foil wrapped cocoa bliss, right?

We may have found the solution, and the kids will even want to help make it!

With just a handful of ingredients, this delicious Nutella and banana sushi is great any time of year, but add a few sprinkles and it’s a perfect Easter morning distraction and a great way to get more than chocolate into their little bellies.

The fact that it’s super simple for little hands to make is just an added bonus.

Nutella and banana? Yes please!

Nutella and banana sushi recipe

Super simple and fun to make, this is an impressive snack to whip out any time of year, but is particularly fun for Easter.

  • 2 low carb wraps or tortillas
  • 2 tbs Nutella
  • 2 bananas

To decorate:

  • Cadbury Speckle Eggs
  • Sprinkles

  1. Spread Nutella evenly onto low carb wraps or tortillas, making sure to go all the way to the edges
  2. Place banana onto end of each wrap and roll, nori style
  3. Cut into even bite sized pieces
  4. Top with sprinkles and serve on a platter with Speckle Eggs to give that Easter vibe

Now you just have to try not to eat the whole plate … good luck!
