"Thank you for being REAL!"

Supermodel Ashley Graham welcomed her first child in January and she is back at work and being praised by mamas from all over the world.

The activist and new mum has built her brand around body positivity and so it’s amazing to see her embracing her post-partum body, stretch marks and all, in a swimsuit shoot.

The images were taken by the 32-year-old’s husband Justin Ervin, six months after the couple welcomed their baby boy, Isaac, and were at their home in Nebraska.

“Some things I love: a cute bathing suit and a backyard shoot with the family!” Ashley captioned the stunning photo of herself in a colourful bikini.

“We’ve had such great time making the most of this summer in Nebraska and these suits have me feeling great for my first summer as a mommy!”

Ashley’s post was met with an outpouring of support from her fans who loved that she was showing off her stretch marks.

“Thank you for being REAL! You are beautiful,” wrote a follower. ” All these celebrities that seemingly ‘bounce back’ and look like they never gave birth to a child is so unrealistic!”

“Gorgeous,” added another fan. “I’ve felt really insecure about the stretch marks on my stomach recently. Thank you for showing us that all bodies are beautiful.”

“No matter how you get them, they’re okay and she’s trying to make sure other people don’t feel shame about having them… we should not feel embarrassed or less than because we have scars/marks that other people might not find aesthetically pleasing,” commented a follower.

Ashley said she didn’t Photoshop the final images for the Swimsuits for All shoot because she felt empowered by her new mum bod.

“There’s always a question of what do you want us to retouch, and what do you want us to take out? And I said, ‘Nothing’,” except from a clamp holding up the DIY backdrop,” she tells PEOPLE.

“The thing about working with Swimsuits For All is that I’ve always been able to design swimsuits that I want to wear and swimsuits that I’m really comfortable in,” the new mum explains.

“Now with a new postpartum body, I thought that things were going to feel different, and that they were going to look different, and they do, but it’s a new found joy in that.”

“I’ve got more weight on me. I’ve stretch marks, and in the beginning I really had to have a lot of conversations with myself and tell myself, ‘Okay, new body, new mindset.’

But after this photo shoot, I felt so empowered because I was like, ‘Yes. I look good. I feel good. This is my new mum bod’.”
