The most popular baby (and pet!) names from the Bonds Baby Search 2020 revealed

The classics are sticking around.

The Bond’s annual nation-wide search for Australia’s favourite baby is underway for 2020, and it’s proving to be more popular than ever thanks to a record 75,000 entries.

The boffins at Bonds have been crunching the numbers and looking at stats and they’ve compiled lists of the most popular names for babies and fur babies from the entries this year.

Because the Bonds Baby Search takes entries from (human) bubs aged between zero and four-years-old, we get a comprehensive look at the trends in Aussie baby naming from the past four years, giving us a pretty good indicator of what we can look forward to in 2020.
