Forget hibernating through July this year!

It is not long until the winter school holidays are here, and it is time to create some unforgettable memories with your children to give them plenty to talk about when they head back to school – and fall in love with the frosty season!

Melbourne company, AmazingCo is here to help by utilising technology to get Aussie children outdoors with their ‘Family Challenge Month: Winter Edition’. Available throughout July, this initiate offers young families all over the country the chance to get outdoors and create memories while completing fun challenges and games as a team!

Aiming to tick off the activities on your ‘nature bingo card’, which you are supplied at the start of the month, you and your family will have the chance to complete weekly activities and challenges shared with you via a link every Thursday during July.

Co-founders of AmazingCo – Nick Brozovic and Jeremy Cox say their mission is simple: “make winter fun for families!”

“The cold, rainy season can be tough for families so we’ve set about designing an experience that truly celebrates winter,” they told Bounty Parents.

“We want to see families all over the country dancing in the rain, snuggling up with campfire hot chocolates, exploring wildlife and jumping up and down in muddy puddles. The weekly challenges are designed to bring families together, inside the home and outside, and ultimately create a bunch of memories in what is normally the coldest, darkest part of the year.

“We’re building the Winter Edition to be our biggest and most entertaining month-long experience yet, and complete with awesome prizes too! Through this amazing experience, we hope to inspire as many Australian families as possible to embrace winter like never before.”

What is the Family Challenge Month: Winter Edition?

This month-long experience is aimed at young families to get together and see winter and what it has to offer in a whole new light.

On the first day of the month, you’ll receive a “nature bingo card’ with pictures, giving you hints for activities or challenges you will be able to complete such as a campfire cook up or scavenger hunt.

The weekly link will also include games and quizzes for kids to play.

There will be a prize for the competition winners as well as daily and weekly prizes – just be sure to take pictures of all the fun you are having to be in the running!

Even better, the cost is a low $50 per family for a lifetime of memories.

“We started AmazingCo to help people live a more fulfilling life and believe the most important place to start is connecting with our cities and loved ones,” say Nick and Jeremy.

“We’re now focused on re-inventing leisure time and helping people create incredible memories without needing to spend hours planning. As people are constantly on their phones, we’ve developed a range of experiences that involve technology but also promote connectedness between friends, family and partners. Even better, our experiences allow people to explore the hidden gems of their neighbourhoods while supporting local businesses.”
