When it comes to choosing a baby name, many parents want one that is a little bit different, you know, a moniker that will stand out in a crowd.

For Abcde Elaine Sutton, her first name is not only unique but it is also rather tricky to pronounce.

In a now viral TikTok video (watch it above), Abcde Elaine Sutton shared with her followers the correct way to say her first name.

“So a lot of you wanted to know how to pronounce my name,” she begins.

“I just think it’s so funny because ‘Obesity’ is wild. It’s pronounced ‘absidee’ – abcde, absidee.”

The alphabet-inspired name caused a frenzy online, with over 2.3 million people viewing the TikTok.

Many people thought she must be joking and that it’s a fake name but in a previous video, Abcde confirmed it honestly is her birth name.

“No way there’s actually someone with this name. I read about it years ago,” said one follower.

Abcde’s name is pronounced, ‘absidee’.

Other people thought the name was awful and another conceded it wasn’t actually that unusual.

“This has got to be the worse name I’ve ever heard,” commented a critic.

“Not tryna b mean but its not unique, its the alphabet.” said another.

It wasn’t all bad feedback though, there were some people who loved the name Abcde.

“I want to name my child this,” a woman commented.

Added another: “Your name’s pretty cool.”

And clearly, there are other fans of the name with 328 babies reportedly been named “Abcde” in America between 1990 and 2014.
