Brook Crompton’s life has done a full 180. After a whirlwind, short-lived stint on Married At First Sight, the 27-year-old Gold Coast model has found her real-life fairytale. She’s back with her ex, got engaged over Christmas, and is expecting a baby, all while still technically “married” on the show.
“It honestly feels like everything has fallen into place,” Brook tells Woman’s Day. “This is everything I’ve ever wanted – to be with a partner who supports me and loves me for me.”

Brook reportedly left the show last August after just two weeks of filming. Sources say she grew tired of the production and struggled to connect with her on-screen husband, who she never even kissed.
Two weeks after leaving the show, Brook reconnected with her former partner, Harry, 28, a builder from the Gold Coast. Her brief, disastrous TV marriage to Chris Nield ended off-screen due to an “incident,” paving the way for Brook to follow her heart.
“Yeah, I came crawling back,” Harry tells Woman’s Day. “I missed her a little too much.”
“But he had to put in the hard yards, because he broke up with me,” laughs Brook. “But no, really we were both like, ‘OK, if it didn’t work back then, what are we going to do to make it work now?’”
Though she spoke on MAFS about cheating exes, Brook is clear: the reason for her initial breakup with Harry, three months before filming, was purely timing and bad communication.
“We’ve got a bubba on the way”
In November, as the couple settled into their renewed life together, Brook had a dream that would change everything.
“I had a dream that I was pregnant,” she says. “I woke up and thought, ‘That was crazy,’ but I did a pregnancy test… and it was positive!”
They did several more tests — all confirming the same life-changing news.
“We just couldn’t believe it,” says Brook. “Two separate psychics also told us we’d have a baby together, so it all felt very surreal.”
Now, Brook and Harry are preparing for a whole new chapter.
“We’ve got a whole life ahead of us now. We’re engaged, we’ve got a bubba on the way. We’ve got everything we’ve always wanted!”
